ABOUT THE WEBINAR

Evaluation research embraces different methodologies and qualitative tools. The tools can be considered a Typology of Qualitative tools including:

(1) Questionnaires ask participants a structured set of closed questions with scales

(2) Interviews may be structured or semi-structured collect deep and rich narratives

(3) Observations allow the evaluation research to closely monitor something or someone

(4) Field notes are taken in the field by the evaluation researcher

(5) Archival data is data that may, or may not, be on a computing system (old records)

(6) A pilot study is the deployment of the full study to a small targeted audience (a practice run).
